Wunderstamp Collection.

I completed the final design's, to be bought as a set from any outsiders wanting to use the postal service.
The Layout design was inspired by a tree shape. When torn off as separate stamps, they become reminiscent of directional arrows; appropriate for any postal service.

-These final designs were submitted for a project at University. I had to portray a new declared country along with a figure head of power, to invent the perception that these stamps were real.

A full backstory can be read below.

Wunderkat and His Brother just can't get along.

Old wonder residence is filled with bears. They preserve trees that New wonder uses for their gain. The wise king of Old Wonder decreed that, old wonder should be run by Wunder's Brother in his absense.  He holds as much disagreement as the bears, and fights among them in the ranks, but some of the bears are despised by this decision. Why should the old kingdom be run by the brother of the enemy?
New Wunder… Fittingly changed in the name of the King.  Their populace is filled with Wunderjacks. Humans who, cut down trees, to make Wunder happy. He absolutely despises bears, as much as their forests. Although his purposes are still unknown, all that I can say about him is; he's a ruthless dictator. Menacing, coy and unsettlingly calm. People say that when he opens his eyes, you see him for what he truly is, but by then, you are already dead.

Very short animation idea. Involves an egg and a flower. Probably only I understand.

Shine on, you crazy diamond.

I developed an old picture I did three months ago.
After viewing some of Ken Wong's artwork, i saw how he had upgraded one of his old concepts and made it a lot better with the skills he'd gained since producing his first concept two years ago.

I look at mine and thought id do the same

Three weeks ago, A team of us made zines for a Illustration module at university. Afterwards, the whole class held an event, where we exchanged each others zines as a fun alternative to forgetting about the project an moving on to the next.

The Process it took to make a zine. I only produced two individual pieces but i compiled most of the typography for my team.

HO HA!!! laughter is the best medicine.
I primarily focused on paper cutting for the lettering of each illustration produced.

One of my ones shown, in book format.

Lighter side of my week; Character design for 12 principles of animation.

The more colourful designs of my week have been focused upon;
-----------------The 12 Principles Of animation -----------------
I've completed four so far. and have made them into gif files for you fine people to enjoy, from the comfort of your house (or boat)
I did some character design for the short 12 principles of animation brief set for uni. This character sheet shows appeal and solid design for the twelve principles.

I thought since I made a half parallax in the designs, I should make a gif out of it. I like it.

Using the same character, this time I've gif'd her doing the 'pose to pose' principle.

Just a nice fish gif at the end. Might show the principle 'squash and stretch' since its a water balloon.

Side note*
I also did some characterisation for my 'ideas through design' module, but its a little too big (A1) to fit under my scanner (A3). I will photograph them as soon as I've got the time to live life….

The Serious side of my week; Prague 1968 and the Erlkonig.

Okay, so, I've finishing up my recent group animation based on the novel, 'The Unbearable Lightness of Being' and hope to upload it here very soon. But since I've changed hands and am starting a new group project, it might get lost or pushed back for another two weeks. Sorry people. Anyway, since I haven't uploaded anything recently for the past two weeks or so, I decided to upload two blogs. Below is some concept art for what I've been doing and what I'm doing now.

A 1 hour painting done on photoshop. Its for a new group animation I am undertaking for University about the poem of the Erlkonig, and the father who loses his son. Dramatic.

The Unbearable Lightness of being' Sequence. It starts at the window, and moves down to the street level, thus playing the running cycle below across the scene.
'Running sequence using a muybridge reference',

Concept for the streets of prague. This is going to be used in my final animation as a 3D layered image, which is going to be cool…. hopefully. Ill have particles flying and a serious amount of depth added.
